Apple Turnovers

I hope you are enjoying the first official weekend of fall! I love the changing leaves, sweaters, scarves, and the pumpkin spice latte (though not as much as it’s more delicious cousin the gingerbread latte).

I spent Saturday morning babysitting my nephew, which involved lots of hockey, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, inspecting every mailbox in the neighborhood, running up hills, and playing golf in the front yard. Then I watched at least three episodes of Parenthood on Netflix. I’m hooked.

I also made some yummy apple turnovers.

Sprinkle Cupcakes

Sprinkles are the best! Don't you think?

Whether you call them sprinkles or jimmies, I think they instantly make any dessert more fun. Soft serve ice cream? Rainbow sprinkles please! Glazed doughnuts? Pink sprinkles please! Cupcakes? What do you think? Sprinkles, of course!

Biscoff Snickerdoodles

At the beginning of the summer, I bought my very first jar of Biscoff spread and I fell in love at the first delicious creamy spoonful.  I had read about the stuff from David, Jenny, Maria, and Jessica, and proceeded to immediately made these Oatmeal Biscoff Cookies, shortly followed by these Biscoff Stuffed White Chocolate Chip Cookies. Heavenly. And I have not been without a jar in the pantry since.

Have you ever tired it? If not, please get yourself to the grocery store immediately and buy a jar (or twenty). Biscoff spread (available in either creamy or chunky varieties) is made from Biscoff cookies, which are known mostly as airplane cookies. To me, it tastes just like Teddy Grahams.
